HOW
THIS
HAPPENED.

I'm Brazilian. I came to the United States with no plan and a bad accent. I poured drinks, I swung a hammer, and eventually I made peanut butter in my own kitchen for my own family. Then I made too much of it.

Before this

I CAME HERE
WITH NOTHING.

I grew up in Brazil and moved to the United States as a young man. I worked construction. I bartended. For years I renovated bathrooms — first in Missouri, then in Florida. Tile, grout, drywall dust. Long days, good work, nothing glamorous about any of it.

I met my wife. In 2023 we had twin girls. Two at once. Nobody warns you properly about that, and if they did you wouldn't listen.

Somewhere in there I got tired of eating protein products that tasted like chalk. I kept buying them anyway. Then I stopped.

"tile, grout, drywall dust. long days."

SO I MADE
MY OWN.

A food processor on my kitchen counter. Peanuts, whey isolate, honey, monk fruit, salt. I wasn't building a product. I was making something my family would actually eat, because the things I was buying weren't it.

The first version had almonds in it and came out gritty. I took them out. The second one was smooth. That's The Foundation, and it hasn't changed since.

Then people who weren't my family started asking for jars. I kept making more. At some point you're not doing a favour anymore, you're running a company. That's roughly how this happened.

The family

IT'S STILL
MY KITCHEN.

Every jar is still made by hand, in small batches, in a home kitchen in Florida. Nothing sits in a warehouse. When you order, someone makes it. That someone is me.

Florida law lets me do exactly this, as long as the jars stay in Florida. So for now they stay in Florida. I'd rather grow slowly than get it wrong.

The photos on the labels are my wife and my daughters, covered in peanut butter. Nobody styled that. It's just what the kitchen looks like most days.

"when you order, someone makes it. that someone is me."

The name

ABOUT THE
NAME.

I named it Daddy's Nuts.
